This has been the motto of my blog since the beginning. I think it’s something that anyone can relate to, and in more than one aspect of their life. We spend so much time trying to impress others and keep up with the Jones’ — but you don’t have to.
What if instead of constantly trying to look the part, whatever that may be, you accept that sometimes there’s ways to achieve the same look, feeling, or goal without having to do what everyone else is doing?
That’s exactly what I hope to convey with my blog. You don’t have to go broke trying to look rich. Whether you imply it literally or figuratively, it doesn’t need to cost you your peace just to impress others.

Expressing myself through my style has always been something I’ve enjoyed doing. I love a good trendy piece, don’t get me wrong, but as I get older and my priorities change, I’m building a wardrobe that will last and serve me for years to come. But of course I’m going to have some fun along the way!

This has become one of my biggest passions over the past couple of years. I’m being more mindful with the products I buy, intentional with my routines, and prioritizing self-care. As I’m finishing out my twenties (omg!), it’s all about focusing on maintaining a youthful glow, healthy skin, and luscious locks.
From a college girl who lived in the city and spent all her money on happy hours and concerts, to an adult whose gone back to her roots to start a life with the man of her dreams. Whether it’s camping trip, date night, a vacation, or literally just sitting on the couch, there’s never a dull moment these days.

We just bought our first home and it’s a 1980’s Cape Cod style home in the North Georgia Mountains — and it’s totally us. From doing all of the renovations ourselves, agreeing on decor and furniture, to making the house our home, it’s been an amazing journey so far, and it’s only going to get better.
